Northeast Contractors Supply is a family owned supplier of high grade building materials, with expertise in large commercial, industrial, and institutional construction projects. We supply projects throughout the Northeastern United States, with regular local deliveries in Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. Our professional network and specialized product knowledge in Masonry, Waterproofing, and Concrete/Masonry Restoration allow us to provide unparalleled service to our customers. Northeast Contractors Supply is a registered M/WBE in the State of Connecticut, registered MBE in the city of Hartford, registered WBE for the state of Rhode Island, and registered WBE for the state of Massachusetts.
Expertise That Spans Generations
Our commitment to the industry goes back four generations, making some of the relationships with our customers and manufacturing partners span multiple lifetimes. This type of long term commitment keeps us focused on building honest relationships with trusted business partners. It started with Leo Aloysius Colgan who began working at, and later became vice president of, a building supply company in Boston. His son, Paul Barry Colgan Sr., known to many as Barry, worked with him there as well. Barry later became vice president of that same company and then bought it in 1985. Barry built up that business with his son, Paul Barry Colgan Jr. Paul Jr. helped spearhead the expansion of the business beyond the Boston market and into Connecticut. Paul Jr. had a particular dedication to the industry, supporting different masonry organizations along with youth education & training programs. After his parents passed away, Paul Jr. opened up his own business, Northeast Contractors Supply, in 2011. Since Paul Barry Colgan Jr's tragic passing in 2015, the legacy continues with his wife, Katherine, and son, Leo Aloysius Colgan, providing the same level of dedication and service today.
